This program introduces students to the fundamentals of planning and producing live and digital events. Students will learn how to design, organize, and execute events from concept to completion, including logistics, budgeting, marketing, and audience engagement.

Student learning

What the course covers

How the events pathway is taught, what students leave able to do, and where it applies.

Through hands-on projects, students will explore event branding, promotion strategies, scheduling, and team coordination while developing skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. Emphasis is placed on real-world application, collaboration, and creating memorable experiences for diverse audiences.

Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be prepared to plan and produce professional-quality events such as school activities, showcases, performances, and community events, building a strong foundation for careers in event production, marketing, hospitality, and the broader live and digital events industry.

Real-world application

Prepares students for roles in concerts, festivals, sports, online, and corporate events. Teaches logistics, planning, budgeting, marketing, and hospitality skills that are transferable to any sector that requires planning and execution.
