Partners

Partnerships expand impact.

Creating meaningful opportunities for students takes more than one organization. Music to the Ears brings together education, industry, technology, philanthropy, and community partners to expand access, strengthen Creative Pathways, and connect learning to the real world.

Strategic partner

Academix

Creative Economy Platform

Academix designs the frameworks, industry partnerships, standards, credentials, and systems that connect education to the Creative Economy. Music to the Ears serves as the community implementation partner, bringing those systems to life through K-12 education, workforce pathways, arts and culture, and strategic partnerships.

Together, Academix and Music to the Ears connect strategy with implementation, education with industry, and creativity with opportunity.

Frameworks

The structures that turn scattered creative activity into a coherent, repeatable education model, including the BEAT Framework itself.

Standards & credentials

Definitions of what a student has actually learned, and the credentialing routes that let that learning travel beyond one classroom.

Partnerships

The higher education, technology, media, civic, and industry relationships a single school or nonprofit cannot assemble alone.

Systems

The operating model that lets a community run a Creative Economy ecosystem year after year instead of one funded season.

How the partnership works

Partner with us

What partnering actually involves.

Partnerships with Music to the Ears can take many forms. We work with each partner to align our interests and objectives to achieve the greatest community impact.

Industry access

Open a studio, a venue, a set, a campus, or a working team to students for a field trip, a Creative Career Day, or an industry experience.

Technology and tools

Put professional software and hardware into BEAT Labs and into students' hands, with the training that makes it usable.

Mentorship and instruction

Send practitioners who work in these fields to teach, critique, and mentor alongside Music to the Ears staff and school faculty.

Funding and sponsorship

Underwrite pathway programming, a lab build, an experience, or a cohort of students at a site that could not otherwise fund it.

Pathways and placement

Connect finishing students to internships, apprenticeships, credentialing routes, and entry-level work in your sector.

Civic and community delivery

Host programming in a library, a community space, or a municipal facility and reach students outside the school day.

Tell us which of these you can offer and which students you want to reach. We will come back with a specific proposal: the sites, the pathways, the term, and what success would look like for both sides. No partnership goes on this site before it is real and both parties have signed off on how it is described.
